Job description
Role Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for translating all technical documents between English and Arabic languages. This includes developing and maintaining a comprehensive database of technical terminology to guarantee uniformity in the language and terms used across all translations. The incumbent will also conduct rigorous reviews and proofreading to ensure the accuracy, proper grammar, and formatting of translated content. Collaboration with various departments will be essential, and for localization reasons, the candidate must be a local citizen.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, English, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience specifically in technical translation roles.
- Exceptional written and spoken proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Deep understanding of technical translation concepts and practices.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
