Technical Project Manager - Germany

Are you familiar with the construction industry in Germany and enjoy orchestrating complex building initiatives? We are seeking a pragmatic and solution-driven Technical Project Manager to oversee budget, scheduling, and quality control for our projects in Germany. BVI.EU has been delivering sustainable business environments for over 25 years across Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and Germany, specializing in SME parks, mixed business parks, and customized industrial facilities.

You will join an existing German team managing site acquisition, permits, architecture, engineering, sales, and leasing, acting as the key integrator during construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coordination for multiple construction projects from technical setup and tendering through to final handover, aligning contractors, consultants, authorities, and utilities with planning and quality requirements.
• Oversee budget control, scheduling, and milestone tracking on behalf of BVI.EU, proactively identifying risks and communicating mitigation options to colleagues, clients, and tenants.
• Manage collaboration among specialized construction partners, ensuring site progress and proper alignment of responsibilities and timelines.
• Handle communication with German official bodies, utility providers, and technical institutions; arrange meetings such as with the fire brigade and manage requirements like utility connections and compliance inspections.
• Serve as the technical liaison for client and tenant inquiries, evaluating related impacts on schedule and budget, and coordinating necessary tasks with partners.
• Provide pragmatic, compliant, and financially sound solutions when initial plans require adjustment, balancing regulatory demands and project objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience with German construction markets, including familiarity with local authorities, utilities, and permitting processes.
• A minimum of five years in roles such as Technical Project Manager, Construction Manager, or Bauleiter, preferably with expertise in industrial, logistic, commercial real estate, or SME park developments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
• Ability to maintain an overview, prioritize effectively, and develop practical solutions in a structured manner.
• Effective communication skills with varied stakeholders including contractors, engineers, authorities, and clients.
• Self-driven project ownership combined with collaboration within local and international teams.
• Fluency in German and professional proficiency in English.
