BEC Arabia invites applications for the position of Technical - Electrical Team Leader based in Riyadh. This key role involves guiding a group of electrical engineers and designers through the development of intricate electrical systems within large infrastructure and construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering teams in designing and executing electrical systems for expansive construction and infrastructure projects.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and various engineering sectors to ensure cohesive integration of electrical components.
• Create thorough electrical designs such as schematics, layouts, and technical specifications using industry-standard tools.
• Guarantee all designs and implementations comply with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), and related regulations.
• Track project milestones ensuring electrical deliverables meet deadlines, budget parameters, and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct technical audits and offer expert guidance to uphold best practices and project criteria.
• Manage the production of technical documentation including calculations, reports, and as-built drawings.
• Work with procurement teams to assess and choose appropriate electrical materials, tools, and suppliers.
• Enforce safety protocols ensuring all electrical systems conform to OSHA, NEBOSH, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Provide on-site technical support during construction phases, commissioning, and final project handovers.
• Mentor junior engineers, encouraging their professional growth and skill enhancement.
• Stay abreast of innovations and emerging trends in electrical engineering to propel team innovation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years’ experience in electrical engineering with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and Revit MEP software.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi Building Code and related standards.
• Experience managing both high-voltage and low-voltage systems within large construction projects.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent credentials.
• Experience with smart city technology and sustainable electrical system design.
• Knowledge of LEED certification, Mostadam compliance, and other green building standards.
• Previous involvement in giga-projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

Working Conditions

• Position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Primarily office-based work with periodic site visits to construction locations.
• Some regional travel may be necessary.
• Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during site inspections.
