Role Overview
The Technical Delivery Manager is charged with overseeing the entire lifecycle and successful completion of large-scale enterprise IT projects centered on systems integration, networking, and security. This role requires strong technical leadership of a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery that enhances the profitability and reputation of CNS's Digital Services division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional technical team including system administrators, network engineers, application specialists, and cybersecurity experts to execute sophisticated IT initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain rigorous delivery methodologies, governance structures, and quality assurance standards across client projects.
- Serve as the primary escalation contact for major project challenges, leading technical and commercial problem resolution while sustaining excellent client satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales and Sales departments to assure seamless transition from proposal and pipeline activities to project execution, confirming scope, schedule, and resource plans.
- Direct capacity planning, resource distribution, and performance tracking to reduce unallocated time and boost team effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or MBA and advanced technical credentials such as CISSP or CCNP.
- Minimum 10 years of experience delivering IT projects, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing system, network, and security teams.
- Desirable: Over 15 years' experience including successful delivery of multi-million dollar enterprise IT projects.
Additional Expertise
- Thorough knowledge of IT infrastructure encompassing networks, security protocols, and system administration.
- Strong stakeholder management and vendor negotiation abilities.
- Advanced understanding of ITIL, PMP and Agile methodologies, and enterprise managed services frameworks.
- Compliance with CNS's ISO-based policies and operational procedures.
