Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner will work closely with hiring managers to understand both immediate and future staffing needs across their teams. This position combines hands-on recruiting with broader talent strategy, including active sourcing, identifying qualified candidates, and building recruiting relationships through events and outreach. The role also supports improvements to recruiting processes, procedures, and systems, while helping guide and mentor other members of the Talent Acquisition team.

Work Schedule

This is an in-office role with a Monday through Friday schedule on day shift.

Strategic Recruiting

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to assess current and future staffing requirements.
  • Develop candidate pipelines by connecting with local high schools, technical schools, military bases, and aviation training institutions.
  • Oversee the company DoD SkillBridge program and coordinate recruiting and internship efforts for transitioning service members who may move into full-time roles after completion.
  • Identify and implement new ways to improve recruiting outcomes.
  • Draft and update job descriptions.
  • Research and attend relevant career fairs, local hiring events, and professional networking functions to strengthen the recruiting program.

Recruiting Duties

  • Handle the full hiring process, including screening, interviewing, reference verification, and extending offers.
  • Attract applicants through job postings, recruiter outreach, social media, and online hiring platforms.
  • Review resumes and conduct first-round interviews to assess qualifications by comparing candidate responses, references, and credentials against role requirements.
  • Track and document recruiting activity and hiring steps in the applicant tracking system.

  • Coordinate interviews with managers, manage candidate travel arrangements, escort candidates as needed, and organize company tours when appropriate.

  • Act as a point of contact for employment agencies and industry groups.
  • Present company benefits and advantages to prospective candidates.
  • Support additional duties and special projects assigned by the Director of HR.
  • Travel approximately 20% of the time.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of recruiting experience is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, along with excellent data entry and technical writing ability.
  • Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with applicants at all levels.
