Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Supply Planning Supervisor to join our Logistics team at the North York location. The incumbent will ensure product availability, manage inventory efficiently, and coordinate demand, production, procurement, and logistics activities. This role is critical for enhancing operational excellence, refining planning processes, and cultivating a high-performing team that drives company growth. Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive supply planning to guarantee steady product availability.
• Convert demand forecasts into detailed supply and production schedules.
• Maintain inventory at optimal levels while meeting service targets.
• Analyze supply and inventory issues to identify causes and implement solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance teams.
• Support new product launches by ensuring supply readiness and smooth transitions.
• Effectively communicate potential risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
• Monitor and enhance key performance indicators such as service levels, inventory turnover, and forecast accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, automation, and system upgrades.
• Lead and mentor the team, promoting responsibility, ownership, and high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply planning, production planning, or logistics operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; experience with Syspro 8 is advantageous.
• Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with planning software.
