Role Overview

The Supply Chain – Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing supply chain and logistics activities to guarantee smooth and efficient movement of goods, inventory, and materials across the supply chain network. This position supports operational effectiveness by managing logistics tasks, tracking inventory flows, coordinating shipment schedules, and maintaining precise supply chain documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate both inbound and outbound shipments ensuring timely and cost-efficient transportation.
• Track delivery statuses and schedule transportation resources accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to facilitate efficient operations.
• Monitor shipment conditions and resolve any logistics-related obstacles.
• Maintain inventory records and support stock level monitoring and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure accurate documentation of shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes.
• Prepare logistics reports, analyze supply chain performance data, and identify areas for operational enhancement and cost reduction.
• Collaborate across procurement, operations, warehouse, customer service, and finance departments to synchronize supply chain functions.
• Support process improvement projects, uphold standard operating procedures, and ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards.
• Continuously track performance metrics related to delivery, inventory accuracy, and operational risk to aid strategic decision-making and boost overall supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, inventory control, transportation coordination, warehousing, and procurement.
• Proficient using spreadsheet tools, ERP systems, inventory management and logistics software platforms; familiarity with supply chain analytics and business intelligence tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills to detect performance issues and recommend improvements.
• Understanding of shipping documentation, order fulfillment processes, demand planning, freight coordination, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination capabilities to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records.
• High attention to detail, time management skills, adaptability, and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while fostering continuous process improvements.
