Supply Chain Intern

About the Role

Join CHANEL as a Supply Chain Intern specializing in Fragrance & Beauty based in Dubai, UAE. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience managing luxury supply chain operations, including order processing, shipment tracking, and collaborating closely with various internal and external stakeholders such as Area Sales Managers, Marketing, Retail, Brand Managers, Boutique Teams, and headquarters in Neuilly.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure precise and timely entry of orders in SAP, maintaining data accuracy and proper documentation.
• Monitor shipments actively, coordinating with Customer Service teams in Paris to track delivery statuses and resolve any discrepancies involving quantities, delays, or paperwork.
• Assist with clearance and invoicing activities within the UAE Local Market in collaboration with distributors and support the Supply Chain Executive.
• Participate in weekly Sales & Supply meetings, providing updates on shipment ETAs and maintaining various operational trackers, including campaign shortages and order fill-rate analyses.
• Contribute to the monthly supply newsletter by consolidating relevant data effectively.
• Support management of new campaign orders by following up on potential risks or delays and coordinating quota reviews and order validations with cross-functional teams.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant background or academic exposure in supply chain management, logistics, or order processing is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, combined with exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and proactive follow-up approach.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders; proficiency in English is required, while Arabic and/or French are advantageous.
• Candidate must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
