Store Manager

Position Objective

• Drive the achievement of company goals by ensuring retail staff deliver exceptional customer service while equipping them with the necessary skills and support to maximize sales.
• Enforce operational procedures at the store level in line with company and brand guidelines.
• Boost customer loyalty and repeat purchases by actively promoting the company’s Loyalty Program.
• Communicate employee performance and product feedback to the Area Manager and Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Brief and counsel staff to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Maintain a professional and fashionable appearance with up-to-date product knowledge to minimize stock loss.
• Stay informed on new products, trends, and fashion directions to anticipate and satisfy customer needs effectively.
• Manage stockrooms carefully and ensure stock loss is kept to a minimum.
• Apply store operating procedures rigorously, guaranteeing adherence to brand and company's policies by all staff at all times.
• Use innovative approaches to meet or exceed store sales goals.
• Maintain adequate stock levels to optimize sales opportunities.
• Conduct weekly store audits of administration tasks and address any discrepancies promptly.
• Handle daily staff scheduling, leaves, and grievance matters efficiently.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards consistent with set brand guidelines continuously.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat customer purchases.
• Oversee store operations and provide regular updates to the Area Manager regarding staff and product issues.
• Remain vigilant about security within the store to prevent any negligence.
• Keep informed about all brands within the group to facilitate suggestive selling effectively.
• Take full accountability for all aspects of store operations.
• Be physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items as required.
