About the Role
Autodesk is seeking a Facilities Category Manager to lead sourcing and supplier relationship management within the Facilities Management domain for the Americas and Latin America regions. This position focuses on developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize costs, enhance performance, and foster supplier partnerships. The role demands collaboration across functions and cultures, ensuring alignment with global category strategies while supporting regional execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional sourcing projects and manage supplier negotiations for Facilities Management subcategories such as Real Estate, Office fit-out, Maintenance, and Workplace Services.
- Collaborate with the Global Facility Category Lead to implement global sourcing strategies seamlessly across regions.
- Oversee supplier management including performance reviews, continuous improvement through scorecards, and KPI management.
- Coordinate the full RFx cycle (RFI, RFP, RFQ) ensuring adherence to sourcing policies and regional requirements.
- Analyze spending patterns, market trends, and vendor metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings, process enhancements, and supplier consolidation.
- Work closely with teams in Real Estate, Finance, and Procurement to maintain cross-functional alignment.
- Provide expertise on Facilities contracts covering commercial and legal terms such as SLAs, KPIs, liability clauses, indemnity, and service governance.
- Ensure compliance with company sourcing policies and address any deviations appropriately.
- Advise business stakeholders with strategic insights to mitigate risks and improve service delivery.
- Contribute to advancing category management maturity by supporting global improvements in processes, tools, templates, and training.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- At least 8 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management, with preference for experience in Facilities Management or Corporate Real Estate.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing category strategies in regional or global settings.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities combined with effective stakeholder relationship management.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Procurement certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are advantageous.
- Experience working in diverse multinational environments and across time zones.
- Willingness to travel as required.
