Solar Technical Service Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding team focused on delivering innovative Smart Energy solutions. This role demands a self-motivated, responsible individual with the ability to learn swiftly and solve technical problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert after-sales technical support for inverters and battery energy storage systems (ESS).
• Support installation, commissioning, and conduct maintenance training for inverters and battery systems to both customers and installer teams.
• Deliver timely technical assistance via phone and email with professionalism and clarity.
• Execute remote and onsite troubleshooting activities, including inverter and battery replacements, defect analysis, and field servicing as necessary.
• Identify and resolve issues related to battery systems, battery management systems (BMS), communication protocols, and system integration.
• Thoroughly document after-sales cases, analyze them, and regularly report findings to the team leader.
• Collaborate closely with sales, project management, and service departments to facilitate smooth project execution and installer support.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in technical service, commissioning, or after-sales support in the solar or energy storage sector.
• Practical experience with battery systems, BMS, power conversion systems (PCS), energy management systems (EMS), and communication protocols such as CAN or RS485 is highly advantageous.
• A strong commitment to customer service paired with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively.
