Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive Software Engineer to take ownership and enhance our internal technology platform ranging from data infrastructure to AI agents. This role is essential to driving our venture capital transformation through advanced data systems. Our existing foundation includes a proprietary platform for sourcing and evaluating startups, and now we need to elevate it further.

Work Environment

You will be stationed in our Heilbronn office, engaging full-time in a hybrid work model as part of our engineering team. You will manage and develop key agentic systems that influence our process of identifying and supporting Europe’s leading founders.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain data infrastructure, incorporating databases and API integrations.
• Refine our AI-driven deal sourcing pipeline for optimal performance.
• Create internal AI agents aimed at streamlining and accelerating the investment team's capabilities.
• Design and implement automation solutions to enhance fund management workflows.

Candidate Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.
• Between one and three years of experience working in dynamic technical environments such as startups, scaleups, or venture capital firms.
• Demonstrated expertise in Python programming and SQL database management.
• Proficiency in both German and English, spoken and written.
• A highly motivated, hands-on approach with a strong sense of responsibility and a builder mentality.
