Overview

Our partner company based in Germany is seeking a skilled Software Craftsperson experienced in Node.js, React.js, and AI technologies. This remote role involves developing high-quality, scalable software systems with a strong focus on craftsmanship and modern engineering practices within an AI-native environment. The position emphasizes full-stack development, continuous enhancement, and delivering meaningful solutions across diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications utilizing Node.js, React.js, and AI-assisted development tools.
Implement software craftsmanship best practices including test-driven development, clean coding, refactoring, and continuous integration and delivery.
Manage end-to-end feature development spanning front-end interfaces, back-end services, infrastructure, and deployment workflows.
Engage in collaborative engineering activities like pair programming and peer reviews to elevate code quality.
Partner with product teams to identify user needs, propose solutions, and build impactful features.
Embrace continuous learning, experimentation, and strive to enhance technical standards.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 18 months of full-stack development experience with a track record of building production-grade software.
Proficient in Node.js, React.js, and AI-related software development methodologies.
Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
Experienced with Agile and Extreme Programming (XP) frameworks in continuous deployment environments.
Familiar with test-driven development, continuous integration/delivery tools, web frameworks, relational databases, and performance tuning.
Knowledgeable in server setups, deployment infrastructure, version control, and bug tracking systems.
Ability to independently analyze problems, document technical details clearly, and communicate effectively.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and commitment to engineering quality.
Product-oriented mindset capable of understanding customer needs and contributing beyond assigned duties.
Comfortable collaborating remotely within Pacific Standard Time work hours.
