About Eurorelief and the Role

Eurorelief is a Greek nonprofit and non-governmental organization dedicated to providing compassion and aid to suffering refugees in Greece and nearby areas. Operating mainly in refugee camps, our mission is to support the physical and social needs of new arrivals while expressing care and kindness.

The Social Care Team seeks dedicated volunteers to assist vulnerable camp residents. This role involves identifying and connecting individuals in need with appropriate legal, medical, and protection resources. Responsibilities include welcoming new arrivals, delivering informational sessions, and facilitating referrals for legal interviews.

Commitment and Location

Positions are based in Lesvos or Samos, Greece, starting summer 2026 or later. Volunteers should commit for a minimum of six months, although exceptions may be considered.

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled in or graduated from Social Work or a related discipline.
• Experience working in social work.
• Willingness to commit at least six months to the role.
