SIS Developer

About the Role

Batterjee Medical College is seeking a skilled SIS Developer to join their enterprise systems team, focusing specifically on the backend development and technical configurations of Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. This position requires working closely with the SIS consultant and business analyst to handle system development, integration, and ongoing maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain components of Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions utilizing PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker tools.
• Create and support REST and SOAP APIs, as well as third-party system integrations.
• Design and implement batch processes, generate reports using SQR and BI Publisher, and perform data extraction based on technical requirements.
• Contribute to technical design reviews and participate in detailed code walkthroughs.
• Work collaboratively with the internal SIS consultant and business analyst to clarify functional specifications and translate them into efficient, maintainable code.
• Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and provide technical support for various SIS modules.
• Assist with system upgrades, applying patches, and managing environment migrations from a technical standpoint.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of four years' hands-on experience in Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions technical development.
• Proficiency with PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Integration Broker.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Solid understanding of Oracle SQL and relational database structures.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SQR and BI Publisher.
• Familiarity with PeopleTools, Application Designer, Data Mover, and Change Assistant utilities.
