Role Overview

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead the restaurant team during your shift, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, safety, and cleanliness. This position is suited for confident leaders who thrive in a busy setting and are passionate about guiding and motivating their team to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate team activities throughout your shift.
• Oversee team performance, offering coaching and constructive feedback.
• Maintain consistent adherence to food, service, and safety policies.
• Handle customer queries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Monitor inventory and support basic stock management.
• Assist in cash handling, POS operations, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), and company standards.
• Effectively communicate shift performance and issues to management.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven supervisory experience in hospitality, quick service restaurants, or retail environments.
• Strong leadership abilities complemented by excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to train, motivate, and develop team members.
• Good knowledge of food safety regulations, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
• Ability to manage priorities and remain productive under pressure.
