Senior Software Developer

About the Role

Credence Analytics (India) Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team in Malad (West), Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust REST APIs and web applications, while collaborating closely with business units and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and technology trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and code REST APIs primarily using Node.js and other programming languages.
• Support application lifecycle by understanding system integration, creating test plans, scripting, and troubleshooting issues.
• Monitor and assess software and database health and performance for optimization.
• Engage with business units, customers, and subject matter experts to stay updated on project progress, architectural trends, risk factors, and integration challenges.
• Define software specifications, develop and modify programs, prepare functional documentation and test data.
• Evaluate program and application performance utilizing diverse programming tools and methodologies.
• Review project proposals, assess alternatives, estimate efforts, and provide informed recommendations.
• Design systems and outline detailed specifications accurately.
• Identify areas for process improvements and propose effective solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js and Python development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Version control expertise using Git.
• Containerization skills with Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Competency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, React, and Vue.js.

Additional AI Expertise

• Understanding and fluency with Claude Code.
• Experience in creating AI agents and related skills.
