Overview
Join a premier financial services company that is actively advancing its technology and digital transformation initiatives. This Senior QA Analyst position is not a conventional quality assurance role; it focuses on enhancing quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle by integrating testing, controls, and quality benchmarks early during delivery.
A crucial part of this role involves understanding the impact of AI-assisted development and AI-generated code on quality assurance. You will be responsible for establishing effective standards to test and govern AI-generated code, while also pinpointing secure and beneficial applications of AI for generating test cases, analyzing defects, automation, and regression testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and enhance testing and quality procedures covering the entire SDLC.
- Develop pragmatic test plans, quality benchmarks, and criteria for release readiness.
- Set guidelines on testing, reviewing, and governing AI-assisted and AI-generated code.
- Identify safe and productive uses of AI in test-case creation, defect analysis, automation, and regression testing.
- Advance test automation efforts and embed quality checkpoints within CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, product management, and delivery teams to foster accountability for quality.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive senior-level experience in QA or quality engineering within multifaceted technology environments.
- Profound understanding of the full SDLC, including shift-left testing and quality engineering methodologies.
- Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools in software development, testing, or QA contexts.
- Competence in automated testing, API, integration, regression, and non-functional testing, along with embedding quality controls in CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders and the capability to influence and challenge established norms.
Experience in financial services or a comparable sector is advantageous.
