Senior Project Manager – Flagship Programs

Overview

Field AI is looking for a Senior Project Manager specialized in leading expansive, complex tech programs tailored for premier enterprise industrial clients. This role acts as the chief communication link between executive-level customers and internal teams including Product, Solutions, Engineering, and Delivery, ensuring each project attains its technical, operational, and strategic goals.

Key Duties

• Direct the planning and delivery of comprehensive customer programs from initial definition to deployment and operational transition.
• Represent the program to executive stakeholders on the client side and coordinate with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams.
• Convert client business needs into detailed program requirements, priorities, milestones, and success metrics.
• Create and maintain integrated plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Lead indirectly a team of Technical Project Managers overseeing individual workstreams, ensuring alignment with overall program goals.
• Implement governance structures such as executive steering committees, status reports, review meetings, decision-making protocols, and escalation paths.
• Report clearly on program progress, risks, and tradeoffs to diverse audiences, including executives and technical staff.
• Identify and address challenges related to execution, cross-team dependencies, resource allocation, and scope adjustments.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to harmonize customer commitments with roadmaps and technical feasibility.
• Nurture strong customer relationships while effectively managing expectations with professionalism.
• Oversee financial aspects of projects ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and contracts.
• Foster accountability across internal and client teams without direct reporting lines.
• Document lessons learned to enhance Field AI’s program management methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Support scaling successful initiatives from pilot deployments to enterprise-wide adoption.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 10 years in project or program management with a track record of overseeing large, complex, client-facing technology initiatives.
• Proven delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget managing multiple teams and interdependencies.
• Technology sector experience is essential—preferably in enterprise software, robotics, AI, industrial tech, automation or related fields.
• Skilled in engaging and influencing senior customer executives.
• Experienced in guiding technical teams and managing multiple cross-functional workstreams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of product development and tech delivery life cycles.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex information into clear presentations and reports.
• Strong financial acumen for managing budgets, scope changes, and contractual obligations.
• Highly organized, adept at establishing clarity and responsibility amidst ambiguity or change.
• Professional demeanor, sound decision-making and customer-focused orientation.
• Ability to motivate and guide teams without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with engineering solutions in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, construction, logistics, automotive, or mining.
• Background with enterprise robotic systems, autonomous platforms, AI technologies, or integrated hardware/software solutions.
• Familiarity managing programs involving product development, systems integration, and organizational change management.
• Understanding of industrial operational environments, safety standards, and procurement/governance protocols.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PgMP, or similar credentials.
