Senior Project Manager - Data Centre Cooling Projects

About the Role

Join a global leader in cooling technology as a Senior Project Manager focused on hyperscale and colocation data centre projects within the Frankfurt, Germany region. You will oversee a live, high-value portfolio exceeding €20 million, engaging directly with major global data centre operators and driving the successful delivery of critical cooling infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent mission-critical cooling projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Oversee project programs, scheduling, budgets, and commercial performance across the portfolio.
• Establish and enhance project management standards and best practices across the organisation.
• Serve as the primary senior contact for clients and various project stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal teams including engineering, service, and commissioning groups effectively.
• Lead risk management initiatives, enforce project governance, and promote delivery excellence.
• Contribute to the expansion of the Project Management Office and development of the project management team.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive project management experience within cooling, HVAC, thermal management, or critical infrastructure sectors.
• Background working for manufacturers or technology providers rather than general contractors.
• Strong familiarity with data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Engineering background preferred, with an emphasis on electrical engineering.
• Holds formal project management credentials such as PRINCE2.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, financial budgets, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.

Location and Work Environment

This role is based onsite in Frankfurt, Germany. Candidates should be located in or willing to relocate to the Frankfurt region.
