Role Overview

As Senior Manager on Udemy's Enterprise design leadership team based in Dublin, you will oversee product design across both Udemy and Coursera platforms. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Design, your core mission is to define the design vision supporting organizational learning and capability-building at scale, while leading and nurturing a team of product designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers tasked with improving enterprise products such as onboarding, admin tools, analytics, billing, retention, and growth features.
• Collaborate strategically with product and engineering leaders to influence roadmaps and business priorities beyond execution.
• Identify innovation opportunities by integrating business insights and user research to connect design efforts across teams.
• Foster designer growth through initiative ownership, honest feedback, and performance management.
• Shape a collaborative and motivated team culture aligned with company mission.
• Plan for team scaling by recruiting, skill alignment, and succession planning for future leaders.
• Raise design standards by sharing industry best practices and providing precise critiques.
• Remain hands-on for critical projects, prototyping concepts using Figma and AI tools to set a high-quality benchmark.
• Link design outcomes to measurable business impact and contribute to team success metrics.
• Manage multiple projects balancing quality, impact, and effort, maintaining a proactive mindset.

Candidate Profile

• Over eight years in product design with at least three years in leadership roles managing design teams.
• Proven experience designing enterprise or B2B solutions including administrative tooling and dashboards for large clients.
• Experienced in leveraging AI technologies within design and prototyping workflows, also enabling team adoption.
• Strong fundamental design skills capable of delivering high-quality work independently when necessary.
• Skilled in clarifying ambiguous, cross-functional challenges into actionable design visions and plans.
• Experienced collaborator with research teams to deeply understand enterprise customer needs.
• Portfolio demonstrating both personal design work and leadership-driven organizational and business impact.
