Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer who excels in a dynamic creative environment and is dedicated to producing high-quality visual materials that span both print and digital formats. This role involves developing compelling brand identity elements, editorial layouts, display mockups, and other creative projects that effectively combine aesthetic appeal with strategic brand impact.

Responsibilities

• Interpret brand strategies and project goals into innovative and engaging visual concepts that resonate with target demographics.
• Enhance and maintain Techo-Bloc’s visual identity by proposing creative concepts and design solutions that elevate the brand consistently across all mediums.
• Design and deliver a variety of print and digital materials such as catalogs, brochures, digital ads, sales collateral, merchandising items, signage, and campaign visuals while adhering to brand standards.
• Apply expert knowledge of typography, layout, and current design trends to every project to uphold brand consistency and quality.
• Create visually appealing digital and social media content that aligns with contemporary social trends and platform-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales units to develop materials effectively communicating product details and advantages.
• Contribute to brand storytelling enhancement and customer digital experience through visual content.
• Maintain high-quality standards via stringent quality control and prepare final artwork optimized for print production.
• Utilize knowledge of print production processes, pre-press requirements, and color management to ensure production excellence.
• Handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining superior creative output.
• Keep abreast of innovative design trends, tools, and creative methodologies.
• Initiate and implement new strategies to elevate brand presence and improve creative output efficiency.
• Integrate artificial intelligence-powered creative tools to enhance workflows, increase efficiency, and foster design innovation.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in graphic design.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English to facilitate communication within regional teams in Quebec, Ontario, and the US.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge); familiarity with Figma and After Effects is advantageous.
• Experience leveraging InDesign functions like data merge and scripting to efficiently produce catalogs and price lists.
• Ability to utilize AI-powered design and automation tools such as Nano Banana, MidJourney, CoPilot, and Claude AI to optimize design workflows.
• Strong understanding of print production, including pre-press preparation and color management.
• Proven capacity to manage diverse projects and deadlines while delivering excellent creative work.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude to translate concepts into polished designs.
• Effective communicator with collaboration skills to work across multiple departments.
• Portfolio showcasing expertise in typography, layout, branding, visual storytelling, and comprehensive print and digital design execution.
