Senior Document Controller

About the Role

Join a prominent construction firm specializing in mechanical and structural works as a Senior Document Controller. This position is integral to a major 200MW Energy Centre project in West Dublin, providing critical support through effective document management and compliance assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the project’s document control systems ensuring document accuracy and traceability.
• Manage the distribution and control of drawings, specifications, requests for information (RFIs), and technical submissions.
• Ensure all project documentation adheres to company and project compliance standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial, and onsite teams to monitor document statuses.
• Maintain logs for revisions and distribution.
• Support quality audits and compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepare reports regarding document progress and unresolved items.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior document control personnel as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Document Controller within the construction sector, preferably mechanical or structural projects.
• Exposure to large infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects is advantageous.
• Proficient with document management platforms such as Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, or equivalents.
• Strong organizational skills paired with excellent communication abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and capability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Skilled in MS Office applications and document workflow processes.
• Available for full-time onsite work at the West Dublin location.
