Position Overview

The Senior Data and Business Analyst role is a full-time, onsite position based in Doha, Qatar. The role entails collecting, analyzing, and interpreting both business and data requirements to facilitate strategic decisions and improve processes. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to accurately define requirements and translating these into detailed functional specifications. The analyst will create data models, design reports and dashboards, evaluate current workflows, identify areas for enhancement, and contribute to the implementation of solutions aimed at operational advancements. Additionally, this position requires preparing well-structured documentation, delivering presentations of insights and recommendations, and working closely with multiple teams to ensure successful integration of changes and ongoing performance assessment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in data interpretation, quantitative analytics, and effective problem-solving techniques.
• Proficient in business analysis practices including requirements elicitation, stakeholder coordination, and definition of solutions.
• Comprehensive understanding of business process mapping, documentation, and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex data and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents, alongside strong competence in Excel or similar tools.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and analytics platforms; familiarity with SQL or related query languages is preferred.
• Educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, or relevant disciplines. Advanced degrees or certifications like CBAP or PMI-PBA are advantageous.
• Documented senior analyst experience, ideally within IT services or sectors served by HyperThink.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural teams and adapt quickly to the demands of a fast-moving, client-centric environment.
