Role Overview

This executive position reports directly to the Managing Director and includes membership in the Executive Leadership Team. The Senior Business Development Manager will spearhead the company's growth strategies, nurture existing partnerships, and seek new project opportunities aligned with the firm's long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the company’s strategic growth and partnership initiatives.
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and industry stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new commercial project opportunities across targeted market sectors.
• Collaborate with pre-construction and project delivery teams to optimize business opportunities.
• Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, and strategic client meetings.
• Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to enhance future business planning.
• Maintain and develop a robust pipeline of upcoming opportunities while nurturing longstanding client relationships.
• Contribute actively as a member of the Executive Leadership Team to guide the company’s growth trajectory.

• Proven track record in senior roles involving growth, client partnerships, business development, or commercial leadership within commercial construction, fit-out, refurbishment, or related industries.
• Reputation for establishing trusted relationships and generating sustainable, long-term business opportunities.
• Well-connected within Sydney’s commercial construction market with an extensive professional network.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial acumen combined with strategic thinking abilities.
