About the Role

Join Kiwibank as a Senior Business Analyst within our Transformation Office, where your work will translate strategic initiatives into tangible improvements that benefit customers and colleagues alike. This role is based in Wellington or Auckland on a fixed-term contract for 24 months, offering flexible work arrangements, wellbeing days, and medical cover to support your health and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of enterprise savings products, influencing significant and lasting change.
• Drive comprehensive business analysis across complex transformation projects, including business, operational, and system process design.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Support a major system migration by ensuring full understanding and management of requirements, impacts, and readiness.
• Develop clear recommendations and maintain requirements traceability from inception to deployment.
• Contribute to governance activities and assurance processes to support successful transformation outcomes.

Professional Expertise

• Experience in system or platform migrations with a focus on current and future state analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct end-to-end business analysis on complex initiatives.
• Proficient in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting comprehensive business, operational, and delivery requirements.
• Skilled in business process analysis, improvement, design, and documentation.
• Strong facilitation skills for leading workshops and engaging stakeholders effectively.
• Previous experience mentoring or supporting other business analysts and contributing to standard-setting practices.
• Familiarity with complex programs, governance frameworks, and diverse delivery methodologies.
• Ability to distill business needs into practical, actionable outputs and advice.
