Senior Auditor

Position Overview

In this role, you will collaborate closely with experienced Partners and Managers across various industries, engage directly with clients, and oversee junior staff. Developing deep relationships with clients, you will aim to understand their core business risks and respond with your expertise and insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from initial planning through to final reporting, ensuring adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, workflows, and financial reporting systems.
• Assess internal control effectiveness and recommend areas for enhancement.
• Prepare and scrutinize financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Guide and mentor junior auditors, offering support and direction.
• Work collaboratively with clients to solve their business challenges and help deliver their goals.
• Keep abreast of evolving industry regulations and standards.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 4 years' experience in external audit environments.
• Thorough understanding of IFRS standards.
• Solid familiarity with auditing concepts, practices, and regulatory standards.
• Competent in audit-specific software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead and manage audit teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are desirable.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience handling multiple audits simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain a positive and enjoyable work environment.
