Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate audits with proper attention to audit risk factors, ensuring all audits comply with internal policies and protocols.
- Carry out audit procedures with an in-depth understanding of the client entity's operational context.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of auditing techniques, methodologies, and documentation standards.
- Experience managing external audit and assurance engagements.
- Proven ability to lead the planning, execution, and reporting stages of audits.
- Possession of a degree and progress toward or completion of a recognized accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Desirable Attributes
- Familiarity with accounting standards, including IFRS, and related financial reporting issues.
- Excellent communication, negotiation capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in project management with a focus on time management and effective communication.
- Capability to nurture strong client relationships, addressing concerns and offering valuable recommendations.
