Job Overview
This permanent, full-time position is based in Mascot. The Senior Analyst role focuses on managing reward, remuneration, and incentive programs for the business while ensuring compliance with external reporting requirements, including regulatory submissions such as those to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA). This role demands collaboration across the Qantas Group to analyze, coordinate, and report remuneration and workforce-related data, delivering insights that aid strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain remuneration and HR reporting frameworks.
- Conduct research, analysis, and evaluations related to pay and workforce data.
- Lead projects supporting People & Culture initiatives and overall Qantas Group strategies.
- Produce detailed reports ensuring adherence to government and regulatory compliance standards.
- Support strategic decision-making with accurate data insights.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in Human Resources, People Analytics, Remuneration, or Business Analysis.
- Advanced skills in numerical analysis, problem-solving, and financial modelling.
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience translating complex workforce and statistical data into clear insights and narratives.
- Competency in forecasting, modelling with dynamic variables, for target setting and performance monitoring.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Project management experience and a continuous improvement mindset focused on innovation.
- Ability to foster effective relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
