Role Overview

Join Bharat Powerhyrs as a Senior Accountant based in Pune, India, responsible for comprehensive accounting functions in a multi-entity, import/export environment. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, statutory compliance, internal controls, and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and record all financial transactions accurately.
• Perform reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
• Manage employee payroll and related expense processing.
• Handle documentation and invoicing tasks efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and taxation laws.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls (ICFR).
• Oversee banking activities and prepare trade-related documentation.
• Manage inventory accounting and control processes.
• Lead and manage the accounting team effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in accounting within multi-entity and/or import/export operations.
• Expertise in handling end-to-end accounting and inventory accounting.
• Familiarity with finance reviews and internal control frameworks.
• Educational qualification: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree.
