Role Overview

Dubai Holding seeks an experienced Scrum Master to join its corporate office in Dubai. Reporting to the Director – AI Product Lead, this role will facilitate multiple AI product squads led by Product Managers, supporting delivery by eliminating blockers, promoting efficiency, and ensuring clear transparency of progress, risks, and cross-team dependencies. The Scrum Master will embed agile best practices across AI-focused cross-functional teams to maintain a steady delivery cadence for AI-powered digital products and foster adoption of a product-led delivery approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to drive outcome-oriented execution.
• Help squads define explicit sprint goals and maintain consistent delivery rhythms while ensuring backlog preparation aligns with sprint objectives.
• Proactively identify and remove obstacles hindering squad progress and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve cross-functional challenges.
• Escalate significant delivery impediments that impact timelines.
• Track sprint progress using metrics such as velocity and completion rate, communicating risks, dependencies, and challenges to Product Managers and leadership.
• Manage dependencies across multiple squads and ensure alignment between technical, data, and business teams for cohesive delivery.
• Guide continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives, ensuring actionable follow-ups, and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and learning.
• Promote agile consistency across teams and contribute to scaling agile methodologies within the product organization as it expands.

Candidate Profile

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Scrum Master or agile delivery positions.
• Preferred background in facilitating delivery within AI, data-driven, or digital product environments.
• Experience working in digitally native organizations or large digital-scale companies is favorable.
• Proven ability to coach and develop both squad members and product managers.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Required Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
• SAFe or equivalent large-scale agile certifications considered an advantage.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with delivery tracking and backlog tools like Jira.
• Capability to manage dependencies effectively in multi-squad setups.
• Familiarity with product-led delivery models and AI-enabled/agentic delivery patterns.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
