We are looking for a dedicated and experienced School Director to lead K-12 educational programs. This leadership position demands strategic oversight, curriculum expertise, and a passion for fostering academic excellence. Key Responsibilities

Lead as the chief executive officer of the school, driving positive educational program development to maximize student achievement.
Manage school budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and resource allocation aligned with organizational objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with district partners and boards, ensuring compliance and offering strategic guidance.
Make informed decisions influenced by education sector trends, client needs, policies, and technologies.
Support academic leaders in supervising teaching staff and advancing academic results.
Mentor instructional administrators and staff through data reviews and team engagements.
Assess staffing needs considering regulations, enrollment data, and client growth; manage recruitment and hiring processes.
Integrate and apply curriculum resources beyond K12 offerings when necessary to meet state standards.
Clearly communicate the school's vision and mission to unify all stakeholders.
Engage with students, parents, and teachers on academic and behavioral matters.
Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, including those for special education.
Develop and execute the School Improvement Plan.
Promote a collaborative, communicative, and innovative working environment.
Oversee departmental accountability standards compliance.
Carry out other duties as assigned, respecting workplace norms and professional standards.

Supervisory Role

Direct supervision of 5 to 10 full-time employees or contractors, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution, in line with organizational policies and relevant laws.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree is required.
Minimum of three years’ experience in a Principal or School Director capacity.
Preferred hold of Florida 5-Year Professional School Administrator Certificate.
Legal residency within Florida.

Sound knowledge of instructional leadership, online education design, and learning style theories.
Highly organized with the ability to oversee complex programs.

Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
Successful completion of a background check.

Preferred Experience

Supervisory experience in training and developing teaching staff.
Familiarity with the organization's technical systems.
Comprehensive understanding of Florida's educational accountability systems.
Experience working within virtual school environments.

Work Environment
