SAP Integration Consultant

About the Role

Deloitte seeks an SAP Integration Consultant to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng. Deloitte is a large global professional services firm dedicated to creating impact for clients and society by leveraging its extensive global presence and multidisciplinary expertise.

The SAP Integration Consultant will be responsible for delivering integrated support services on assigned projects. This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP systems and middleware solutions with a focus on SAP Cloud BTP, ABAP, and SAP PI/PO.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP iFlows, APIs, and integrations using tools such as REST/OData, JSON, and GroovyScript.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP integration, applying logical and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Monitor SAP systems daily, oversee system maintenance, handle post-upgrade tasks, and ensure data integrity.
• Understand and participate in SAP testing processes including code reviews, unit tests, API testing, and data monitoring.
• Document functional and technical designs, test cases, and outcomes; communicate clearly with clients and project teams.
• Accurately input data and generate reports within SAP to support business decision-making and trend analysis.
• Collaborate with SAP specialists, internal teams, users, and third-party suppliers to maintain and support SAP functionalities.
• Stay current with SAP and related technologies, follow development best practices including version control with GIT, and meet service-level agreements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• SAP Certified Associate in SAP Integration Suite and SAP PI/PO.
• A three-year degree or National Diploma in an IT-related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in SAP Integration and Development with prior exposure to Application Management Services (AMS).
• A minimum of 5 years in roles involving direct client interaction.

Preferred Certifications

• SAP Certified Solution Architect for SAP BTP.
• SAP Certified in SAP Business Data Cloud.
• SAP Certified Solution Transformation Consultant with SAP Cloud ALM.
