The sales function operates across three primary client segments: retail customers (individuals), institutional clients (including retail and institutional loan buyers), and real estate developers. Job Overview
The Sales Manager (Direct) role focuses on achieving sales targets through direct channels, aligning with business goals for loan book growth and customer service. The role involves providing various financing solutions such as housing finance to buyers, loan against property, commercial property purchase loans, lease rental discounting, and construction finance to builders. Given the retail-driven nature of ABHFL's operations, high loan transaction volumes and customer relationship management are core to business performance, alongside process efficiency, risk management, and compliance adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and allocate sales targets to team members by assessing local market dynamics including competition, client relationships, and new prospects to ensure target achievement.
- Develop financial and operational expertise within self and team related to industry trends, negotiation tactics, relationship management, and loan processing for sustained portfolio health and profitability.
- Drive metrics such as loan conversion, sanction, and utilization rates while maintaining a robust sourcing funnel to meet business goals.
- Collaborate closely with Risk teams to maintain credit quality, implement effective portfolio selection and pre-screening to minimize non-performing assets.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements, regardless of market pressures or sales targets.

Qualifications and Skills
- Graduation degree required.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of sales experience within banking or NBFC sectors, with at least 2 to 3 recent years dedicated to housing finance company (HFC) sales.
- Strong commercial insight, team leadership and communication abilities.
- Sound understanding of product-market dynamics and ability to execute sales strategies effectively.
