About the Role
The Risk Management Surveyor position involves conducting site inspections and delivering expert technical advice to guarantee safe and compliant construction projects under Premier Guarantee and LABC Warranty brands. Working remotely covering Essex, Kent or Swindon areas, this field-based role requires you to evaluate new builds and recently converted properties against the Technical Manual and Building Regulations, planning and managing your workload independently across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
- Perform rigorous site inspections of new buildings and conversions, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Identify construction defects, maintain quality standards, and provide practical, solution-focused guidance to builders and developers.
- Manage your diary and inspections autonomously to meet operational demands efficiently.
- Document findings and clearly communicate with customers and teams to support construction compliance.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of three years’ experience in construction, surveying, inspection, or equivalent technical disciplines.
- Possession of RMS Level 1, 2, or 3 accreditation; candidates with Level 1 should be willing to advance toward Chartered Member status and Class 2b Competent under the Building Inspector Competency Framework.
- Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and experience in site inspection and defect detection.
- Familiarity working with construction stakeholders, including developers and builders.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and mobile technology.
- Possession of a valid UK driving license and ability to travel between sites.

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive annual salary ranging between £42,000 and £55,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
