Retail Window Cleaner

About the Role

Join NSS Group as a Retail Window Cleaner responsible for maintaining the external cleanliness of retail properties such as coffee shops, banks, clothing stores, and convenience outlets. The role involves using both reach-and-wash systems and traditional window cleaning tools to deliver low-level window cleaning services across various locations within your region.

Working Hours and Schedule

The position involves day shifts from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work when required. Approximately 15-20 jobs are completed daily, with paid travel time included. You will typically work independently on solo rounds following a scheduled work program organized by postcode based on your residence.

Responsibilities

• Travel to different building sites within your area to perform low-level window cleaning using reach and wash techniques and traditional methods.
• Adhere to scheduled routes aligned with your home postcode to efficiently manage tasks.
• Conduct work independently with responsible lone working practices.
• Observe and comply fully with NSS risk assessments and method statements.
• Provide services primarily to retail and banking establishments.

Requirements

• Possession of a full driving license with no more than six penalty points.
• A strong work ethic combined with a proactive, can-do mindset.
• Effective communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively within a team setting.
• Competence in using technology such as smartphones and other IT devices.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and successful clearance of DBS checks as required.
