Retail Technical Sales Consultant

Position Overview

The Retail Technical Sales Consultant role is responsible for achieving sales targets, implementing sales strategies, and developing the retail network for Geberit in Doha, Qatar, while also providing support to the retail operations in Kuwait and Oman. The position focuses on identifying new business opportunities to strengthen Geberit's market position across the region and works closely with Product Management and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand the retail distribution channel to meet annual sales and profitability goals.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with key personnel within partner organizations.
• Ensure the entire market is adequately covered with product displays that comply with corporate standards.
• Monitor accounts receivable to assess credit limits and manage financial risks.
• Analyze market potential and observe competitors regarding products, activities, and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing teams to create and implement comprehensive business plans, covering product strategy, marketing, distribution, pricing, communications, and promotions.
• Deliver product training and company presentations to selected partners, clearly communicating Geberit's unique selling propositions in an engaging manner.

Qualifications and Experience

• Primary education: Degree in economics or sanitary technical field supplemented by additional training in sales or economics.
• Additional qualifications: Degree in marketing or proven experience in retail within the sanitary market sector.
• Relevant experience: Prior distribution experience is essential.

Additional Information

This full-time permanent position reports to the Head of Retail located in Dubai, UAE. The consultant will primarily be based in Doha and will support retail business activities in Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman as required.
