Restaurant Cashier

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Cashier to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role involves managing various payment transactions, maintaining records, and supporting the restaurant operations to ensure smooth billing and customer service experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process payments via cash, card, UPI, and other accepted methods.
• Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to generate bills and invoices promptly.
• Keep precise daily records of sales and cash transactions.
• Check bills, discounts, complimentary items, and payment details for accuracy.
• Collect cash at the counter and ensure correct handover at shift end.
• Collaborate closely with service staff, kitchen team, and management regarding any billing concerns.
• Handle refunds, cancellations, and corrections following company policies.
• Maintain organized and thorough documentation of daily transactions and settlements.
• Keep the cash counter and billing area tidy and orderly.
• Deliver courteous and professional service to all guests.
• Assist the team during opening and closing procedures efficiently.
• Report any inconsistencies in billing or cash shortages immediately to the manager.
• Adhere to company standard operating procedures, financial control measures, and hygiene protocols.
