Job Overview
We are actively seeking a Group Logistics Manager II based in Dallas, TX within our Supply Chain Solutions division. This exempt salaried position offers an annual compensation range of $120,000 to $135,000, paid bi-monthly, plus an annual bonus opportunity up to 20% of the salary based on performance.

Role Summary
The Group Manager Logistics II is responsible for overseeing multiple locations supporting one large client or managing several customer accounts with operating revenues between $8 million and $11 million. The role involves enhancing services, developing customer performance metrics, and may include business development and new site startups. This position directs logistics managers and senior logistics managers and holds full profit and loss responsibility for assigned accounts. All activities are subject to oversight by divisional and corporate leadership to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve operational issues using continuous improvement methods and LEAN practices to improve team cohesion, productivity, and outcomes.
- Manage customer accounts to achieve or exceed performance goals while nurturing strong customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
- Ensure financial targets are met and drive revenue growth for the assigned accounts.
- Lead, develop, and evaluate employees while fostering a positive work environment.
- Recruit, train, and mentor both management and staff.
- Maintain a proactive safety program aligned with company policies to ensure workplace security.
- Oversee profit and loss statements and initiate corrective measures as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Advanced problem-solving skills, preferably utilizing formal root cause countermeasure techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, paired with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Well-developed organizational, analytical, and computer competencies.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels.
- Capability to create an inclusive and engaged workplace culture.
- Proficient use of data to guide profit and loss decisions effectively.

- Knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution, transportation, and carrier management at a strategic level, advanced preferred.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), advanced preferred.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and, depending on the account, DOT and Hazmat regulations, advanced required.
- Expertise in Lean principles, systems, and tools is required at an advanced level.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or equivalent experience with an additional two years relevant work experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of six years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related fields.
- At least five years’ experience managing and developing direct reports; five or more years leading large, multi-level teams preferred.
- Four or more years managing profit and loss responsibility preferred.
- Proven track record in logistics solutions development and project management for at least four years.
- Experience leading teams in Lean environments preferred.
- Minimum two years of customer interaction and managing customer KPIs required.
- Experience delivering presentations to customer and senior management preferred.
- Sales and multi-client management experience favored.
Additional Information
- Travel requirements range from 40% to 50% of the time.
- DOT regulations do not apply.
