Position Overview
This role is for a Regional SDR Director based in the United Kingdom, acting on behalf of a partner company that manages all application and hiring procedures. The position entails leading and expanding high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) and Business Development Representative (BDR) teams across various international markets. The role involves strategy formulation, pipeline development, leadership mentoring, and operational implementation within the sales development function.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing SDR and BDR teams across the Americas (AMER), Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions, ensuring standardized implementation of inbound and outbound sales strategies.
- Mentoring and coaching SDR managers, cultivating future sales leaders, and establishing scalable frameworks to boost team performance.
- Driving the creation and maintenance of a substantial multi-million dollar sales pipeline through targeted prospecting, refined processes, and disciplined operations.
- Utilizing CRM platforms, performance metrics, and data analytics to pinpoint enhancement opportunities and ensure consistent pipeline generation.
- Collaborating closely with regional sales leadership, marketing departments, and field engineers to align sales development efforts with overarching business objectives.
- Recruiting and onboarding promising sales personnel, while nurturing a cohesive and accountable remote working culture across diverse time zones.
- Innovating outbound sales techniques and adapting strategies responsive to evolving market trends, customer requirements, and strategic priorities.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing SDR, BDR, or sales development functions on a regional or global scale.
- Proven ability to consistently deliver outbound sales results and develop qualified sales pipelines.
- Experience managing teams of managers and developing leadership capabilities within sales contexts.
- Proficiency in leveraging data, analytics, and CRM tools to enhance forecasting accuracy, productivity, and operational effectiveness.
- Strong familiarity with contemporary sales technologies, automation platforms, and CRM-based sales processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative capabilities with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for technology, continuous professional development, innovation, and adaptability to shifting market dynamics.
- Preferably holds a bachelor's degree or comparable experience in business, STEM fields, or related disciplines.
