Role overview
The Regional HR Manager will lead the human resources function across the EMEA region, making sure regional people practices are aligned with LMI’s global culture while still fitting local market expectations. Reporting to the Director of HR at headquarters, this person will also serve as an HR business partner to regional leaders and contribute as a member of the EMEA Regional Management Team.
This position suits someone who performs well in a fast-moving technology setting, enjoys teamwork, and brings creative thinking and strong problem-solving ability to support growth through organic expansion as well as mergers and acquisitions. The role is based in one of LMI’s EMEA offices, ideally Berlin, Munich, or Frankfurt in Germany.

Regional HR operations
- Adapt and administer regional benefits, compensation processes, and healthcare plans so they remain consistent with global frameworks.
- Support talent pipeline building, full-cycle hiring, and localized onboarding with help from the headquarters recruitment team.
- Run regional employee experience activities, including performance management, career development, training, and exit processes.
- Ensure company-wide policies, programs, processes, and tools are applied consistently and appropriately across the region.
Strategic HR business partnering
- Advise regional leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development to prepare the business for future needs.
- Take an active role in the Regional Management Team and bring the HR perspective into regional business strategy.
- Work with the Regional Management Team to strengthen workplace culture, engagement, and alignment across EMEA.
- Partner with global leadership on mergers and acquisitions by supporting HR due diligence, talent review, and post-merger integration so cultures, policies, and systems come together smoothly.
- Coach managers and leaders on employee relations issues, conflict handling, and improving performance.
Governance, culture, and compliance
- Promote LMI’s global DEI initiatives across the region’s diverse cultures.
- Collect, interpret, and apply regional market data and trends to improve people practices.
- Develop regional HR practices that balance global compliance with local legal requirements and competitive market conditions.
- Use local expertise to provide proactive and well-informed HR recommendations to the global HR team.
- Stay current on regional employment policies, standards, legislation, and requirements such as work rules and employment insurance.
Additional duties
Carry out other related and incidental responsibilities as assigned.
Education and experience
A degree in Business, HR Management, or an equivalent level of experience is required. The role calls for at least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in HR business partnering and leadership, ideally in a growing, fast-paced high-tech environment. Strong experience in designing and delivering HR programs that improve employee experience is important, along with full-cycle recruitment capability. Experience leading or supporting HR integration during mergers, acquisitions, or market expansion is highly preferred.
Tools, knowledge, and personal strengths
The ideal candidate is comfortable with modern workplace tools such as Google Workspace and MS Office, and has practical experience using or implementing HRIS, ATS, and related HR platforms. A solid understanding of regional labour law is required, along with strong leadership, strategic judgment, organization, communication, interpersonal influence, and project management skills. Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving ability are essential. Excellent English communication skills are needed, including empathy, a strong presence, and the maturity to deliver difficult messages sensitively to different audiences.
