About the Opportunity
Join EcoChill, a prominent commercial refrigeration expert in New Zealand, as a Refrigeration Apprentice in Auckland. This position offers hands-on training across various refrigeration systems including supermarket refrigeration, CO₂ refrigeration technologies, food processing refrigeration, cold rooms, retail refrigeration, and other industrial and commercial installations. You will gain essential practical experience aimed at qualifying you as a Refrigeration Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduled maintenance and servicing activities.
- Learn to diagnose faults and perform repairs effectively.
- Support the installation and commissioning of commercial refrigeration units.
- Collaborate with experienced technicians on diverse projects including supermarkets and industrial sites.
- Adhere strictly to company health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Advance through the apprenticeship program, developing technical expertise.
- Acquire knowledge of up-to-date refrigeration technologies.
