Recovery Driver

Role Overview

Join the RAC team as a Recovery Driver based in Chelmsford. This vital front-line position involves assisting members whose vehicles cannot be fixed on site, ensuring their safe recovery and exceptional service delivery. You will play a key role within the organization, supporting its growth and reputation.

• Engage comfortably with advanced vehicle technology and computerized equipment alongside traditional recovery tools.

Requirements

• Possession of a full category C driving license (HGV 2) as a minimum.
• Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification and a digital drivers/tachograph card are mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary starting at £37,396.18 with a guaranteed minimum of £42,758.32, inclusive of a £5,000 London Weighting allowance where applicable.
• Work a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern with hours from 08:00 to 20:00 or 11:00 to 23:00.
