Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North provides guests with a luxurious island retreat packed with entertainment and adventure. This destination spans five acres and features multiple attractions including a remarkable waterpark, private beach, retail outlets, a beach club, as well as a variety of fine dining and casual restaurants, making it an all-encompassing vacation spot.

Role Overview

The receptionist serves as the primary gateway for guests, ensuring exceptional service through efficient and seamless Front Office operations. Responsibilities include managing guest arrivals and departures, reservations, inquiries, and maintaining the highest hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide a streamlined check-in and check-out process.
  • Register incoming guests, confirm reservations, allocate rooms, and issue room keys aligned with hotel policies.
  • Handle guest payments, cashier duties, currency exchange, and maintain precise billing documentation.
  • Respond promptly to guest queries, requests, and complaints, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Coordinate with departments such as Housekeeping, Concierge, and Engineering to fulfill guest needs efficiently.
  • Review daily arrival and departure manifests, ensuring VIPs and special requests are addressed appropriately.
  • Promote hotel amenities, outlets, room upgrades, and additional services to enhance guest experience and drive hotel revenue.
  • Maintain and update guest profiles accurately within the property management system.
  • Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards for all guest information.
  • Monitor room availability and report discrepancies to the Front Office Supervisor or Duty Manager promptly.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector, preferably at a 5-star hotel or resort.
  • Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management is required.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills; knowledge of additional languages and local dialects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and property management systems such as Opera or equivalents.
  • Strong organizational skills with capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with accuracy in managing guest records and financial transactions.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and integrity.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
