Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding construction team and contribute significantly to delivering prominent projects across the UAE. This role requires someone with a solid background in construction, capable of handling cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management for various types of developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and perform detailed cost estimation and budgeting.
• Manage tender processes and oversee contract administration effectively.
• Implement cost control measures throughout project lifecycles.
• Handle variation management in accordance with FIDIC contract standards.
• Use strong analytical and negotiation skills to optimize project expenditures.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure project clarity and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Proficiency in preparing BOQs, estimating costs, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and controlling costs.
• Sound knowledge of FIDIC contracts and managing contract variations.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication capabilities.
• Experience working on projects in the UAE or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is highly desirable.
