QA / Test Engineer

Job Overview

The QA Engineer plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the quality and dependability of both web and mobile applications by conducting thorough manual and automated testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement detailed test plans and test cases to validate application functionality.
• Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, performance, and security assessments.
• Develop and upkeep automated testing scripts using appropriate tools.
• Work closely with software developers to detect, report, and fix software defects.
• Ensure all software releases comply with established quality benchmarks prior to deployment.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Have 2 to 4 years of professional experience in quality assurance or software testing.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress.
• Must currently be residing in Qatar.

Preferred Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester
• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
