QA Manual Tester

Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Manual Tester for a software development company located in Cork. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering top-quality products by manual testing of web, mobile, and API applications. This permanent position offers a hybrid working model based in Cork, with the potential for remote work after a training period.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing on native web and mobile applications.
• Perform API testing to ensure seamless functionality.
• Develop and update test plans, test cases, and scripts.
• Execute various testing types including integration, system, regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Identify defects and collaborate closely with developers for timely resolution.
• Communicate test progress and quality status through comprehensive reports.
• Work alongside Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and international teams to ensure product quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Prior experience or internship exposure in manual testing of web and mobile apps.
• Strong analytical skills paired with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with great attention to detail.
• Proficient in test planning, execution, and defect tracking processes.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

Additional Information

The annual salary range is €40,000 to €55,000, depending on experience. Applications are only accepted from candidates authorized to work in Ireland.
