Health Data Max specializes in secure, cloud-based Clinical-AI analytics platforms aimed at effective risk adjustment management. Serving payers, providers, and Accountable Care Organizations engaged in risk-sharing, the company focuses on value-based care and financial optimization. Their platform integrates member data comprehensively, validates submissions against claims and EHRs, and includes a reliable encounter submission engine for financial reconciliation. They also enable clients to create custom-trained LLMs that improve predictive risk adjustment and close clinical gaps through EHR-integrated workflows.
Role Overview
We seek a capable Python Backend Engineer to join our technical team, with core expertise in Python development, Microsoft Azure cloud administration, CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, containerization, and secure cloud infrastructure management. This multifaceted position involves development, cloud resource management, deployment pipeline creation, endpoint management via Microsoft Intune, and maintaining enterprise security.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support Python automation solutions, APIs, and cloud applications.
- Build Python-based Azure Functions for processing, validating, and automating ingestion of flat files and medical chart data.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Implement Docker containerization and manage deployments via Azure Container Registry (ACR).
- Deploy and monitor applications using Azure App Service and Azure Function Apps.
- Configure secure Azure infrastructure components like Virtual Networks (VNETs), Private Endpoints, and Azure Bastion.
- Manage security controls including Azure Key Vault and Managed Identities.
- Support Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance enforcement, application deployment, and endpoint security.
- Monitor application performance, diagnose deployment challenges, and optimize cloud operations.
- Collaborate across development, infrastructure, and business teams to enhance delivery and healthcare data workflows.
Additional Information
Applicants should have demonstrated experience specifically with Microsoft Azure technologies, as experience primarily with AWS or alternative cloud services will not meet this role’s needs.
Preferred Certifications
Certification or verifiable experience with Azure CI/CD pipeline configuration and management is favored.
Eligibility and Education
Applicants must hold at least a graduate degree in any discipline.
