Python Automation Testing Lead

About the Role

Cascades Data Solutions India is seeking a seasoned Python Automation Testing Lead with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years focused on Python automation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks to achieve high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and sustain automation frameworks using Python.
• Develop and run automated Selenium test scripts specifically for web-based applications.
• Conduct API Automation and perform Integration Testing to ensure software component interoperability.
• Lead and guide QA team members in various automation testing initiatives.
• Evaluate test plans, automation codes, and analyze test outcomes.
• Collaborate comprehensively with developers, business analysts, and product teams to gather and understand system requirements.
• Manage defect detection, tracking, and ensure resolution.
• Support continuous integration and delivery pipeline automation and actively participate in Agile methodology ceremonies.
• Compile detailed test reports and provide ongoing status updates for projects.
• Guarantee comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards with timely product releases.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Python programming for automation purposes.
• Expertise in Selenium-based UI Automation.
• Strong capability in API Automation and executing Integration Tests.
• Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Proven leadership experience in QA roles.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
