Role Overview
The Project Manager role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish. Key duties include planning, scheduling, budgeting, and allocating resources to ensure project scope, deadlines, and quality standards are achieved. The manager collaborates closely with internal teams, external partners, and clients to monitor progress, address challenges, and facilitate clear communication. Routine responsibilities involve tracking milestones, managing project risks, supporting expediting and logistics, inspecting work quality through reports and audits, and compiling regular status updates. Additionally, fostering a safety-first approach, adherence to company policies, and continuous enhancement of project processes is integral.
Qualifications and Experience
- Expertise in project management aspects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience as an expeditor to ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and documentation.
- Capability to perform inspections that verify compliance with specifications and support site audits.
- Proficiency in logistics management encompassing procurement, transportation, and supply chain coordination.
- Background managing construction or engineering projects in civil infrastructure, heavy industrial, or building sectors.
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and risk management.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for collaboration within remote, cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with project management software and productivity tools such as MS Project, Excel, and collaboration platforms.
- Relevant educational qualifications such as degrees or diplomas in construction management, engineering, business, or related fields.
- Possession of professional certifications like PMP, CAPM, or equivalents is advantageous.
